Sharpe's Greenbul (Phyllastrephus alfredi) is a species of Bulbuls (Pycnonotidae) in the order Perching Birds (Passerines).

Genus: Phyllastrephus; binomial: Phyllastrephus alfredi; authority: (Shelley, 1903).

Distribution

Breeding range: Africa.

Conservation Status

This taxon is listed as Extant (living) in the IOC World Bird List.

Remarks

Phyllastrephus alfredi is treated as a subspecies of P. flavostriatus by some authorities (Dickinson 2003; Johansson et al. 2007). But treatment as a species is supported by the phylogenetic analyses of Lokugalappatti (2011).
