Overview

St. Helena Petrel (Pterodroma rupinarum) is a species of Petrels, Shearwaters, Diving Petrels (Procellariidae) in the order Albatrosses, Petrels and Shearwaters.

Distribution

Breeding range: the Atlantic Ocean.

Conservation Status

This taxon is listed as Extinct in the IOC World Bird List.

Remarks

English name per R. Roe (in litt.). Reassign St. Helena Petrel from Pseudobulweria to Pterodroma following AviList v2025.
