This taxon is listed as Extant (living) in the IOC World Bird List.
Remarks
Roraimia is a basal taxon within the Thripophaga clade (Irestedt et al. 2009; Moyle et al. 2009; Derryberry et al. 2011; Harvey et al. 2020; SACC 504). But it is vocally and morphologically distinctive. Retain in its own monotypic genus for now.
