Remarks
Original spelling; uropygialis is an unjustified emendation (Zoonomen; del Hoyo & Collar 2016). Restore spelling of species eipthet to uropygialis to align with AviList v2025. Discussion here: "Sicalis uropigyalis is the original spelling, and has also been used. As the word uropygium, spelled correctly, is used over 30 times in the original publication, while uropigyalis is only used twice, we hold that this is clear evidence of an inadvertent error, contra David and Dickinson (2014). S. uropygialis is also in prevailing usage by an order of magnitude according to Google Scholar".
