Remarks
Banggai Golden Bulbul Hypsipetes harterti is split from the Northern Golden Bulbul complex Hypsipetes longirostris s.l. on the basis of differences in plumage and vocalizations (Collar et al. 2013; Eaton et al. 2021; del Hoyo & Collar 2016; HBW/BirdLife).
