Atlantic Yellow-nosed Albatross (Thalassarche chlororhynchos) is a species of Albatrosses (Diomedeidae) in the order Albatrosses, Petrels and Shearwaters.

Scientific Classification

Genus: Thalassarche; binomial: Thalassarche chlororhynchos; authority: (Gmelin, JF, 1789).

Distribution

Breeding range: the Atlantic Ocean. Non-breeding range: mainly s Atlantic Ocean between Tropic of Capricorn and Subtropical Convergence.

Conservation Status

This taxon is listed as Extant (living) in the IOC World Bird List.

Remarks

Change English name of Thalassarche chlororhynchos to Atlantic Yellow-nosed Albatross with split of T. carteri.
