Remarks
Ethiopian Thrush Turdus simensis is split from Groundscraper Thrush T. litsitsirupa based on deep genetic divergence and differences in plumage and vocalizations (Nylander et al. 2008; del Hoyo & Collar 2016; HBW/BirdLife).
